News: Man Steals ID &Pretends to be Pharmacist

A convicted criminal landed in hot water recently when he, according to court documents, identified himself as a state-licensed pharmacist in hopes of working for the Cleveland County Healthcare System. According to the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy Web site and court documents, John Richard Clark, 45, of Flagstone Court, provided healthcare officials with a resume, a copy of a pharmacist's 2008 license renewal form and university transcript displaying his supposed educational background. The credentials Clark provided, according to court documents, belonged to a John Philip Clark. John Philip Clark, according to the NCBOP Pharmacist Database, is an active, licensed pharmacist in Asheville. Read more.
